Volunteering

Young people who get involved in voluntary work can find that it makes them feel good about themselves.

Connexions Kent & Medway provides a complete range of services for your teenager to make sure that they get the advice they need.

We give free, confidential and impartial advice, guidance and information on a range of topics including learning, careers and work, health, housing, money, relationships and free time.

Our Personal Advisers can work with you and your teenager, helping them make informed choices to enable them to reach their full potential.

The service is designed to help young people aged between 13 and 19, and for those up to 25 with learning difficulties and disabilities.

Personal Advisers can be found in schools, colleges and town centre Access Points.

Work Experience

Work Experience is an opportunity for 14 to 18 year-olds to spend a week or two in a place of work.

Qualifications

Our qualifications guide explains NVQs, GSCEs, A levels, Key Skills and more. You can also call into your local Connexions Access Point for advice from a Personal Adviser.
