From September 2010 Entry to Employment was replaced with Foundation Learning.
Foundation Learning will be one of the four types of qualifications offered to 14-19 year olds alongside Diplomas, GCSEs and Apprenticeships.
It is for students at entry level or level 1 and you can make choices about what you want to study. There will be opportunities to improve your skills in ICT, maths and English as well as boost your confidence.
From the Foundation Learning programme you will be able to progress to Level 2 qualifications or employment.
For more information about Foundation Learning go to www.dcsf.gov.uk/14-19/foundationlearning
That leap from school to work can be scary. If you didn’t do as well as you hoped in your exams and need further support, then e2e could be for you.
All travel and expenses to and from e2e are paid.
